Help Topic: Viewing Active Topics and New Posts
There are various methods available to check new content on the site, it's all up to personal preference what one(s) you go with. I have listed and explained these below (in no particular order).
-1- When you first access the site there is a box titled "LATEST POSTS" that lists the last ten(10) posts made. Although this is an easy way to view activity at a glance, it is not as complete as other methods as there may have been far more than ten posts since your last visit.
-2- You can view new content/activity by using the RSS feed found near the top right hand side of any page on the site. You will see it indicated by "View New Content" written in grey next to the standard orange RSS icon. Simply click "View New Content" (or the RSS icon) and this will take you to the "New Content Page" where you will see all the new content since your last visit.
You can browse through the list or pages and click to view the new content that interest you. Then once you are finished if there is still content listed but you are not interested in viewing these posts, yet you wish to clear the page of new content; simply click on the "Mark all items as read". (written in white and located on the right hand side of the blue bar found above the list)
-3- You can easily view which new topics have new replies posted today by first clicking on the "Forum" tab at the top of the page and then clicking on the "Today's Active Topics" link found on the blue bar near the bottom of the Forum page.
This will take you to the "Active Content Page" where you will see the active(new) content for the last 24 hrs.
You can set your own date criteria for this by going to the bottom right hand side of the "Active Content Page" and selecting the drop own menu next to "Active in the last...". Here you will have the option to show Active content for the last 24 hrs (default setting), week, 2 weeks, month, 6 months, or year. Once you have selected the criteria you want press the "Go" button to the right of the drop down menu to refresh the page.
-4- New content can be viewed by adjusting your "filter options". These are located at the bottom of any section page (as in Hshare! > Official Hshare Releases > Hentai Anime). You will see on a blue bar written in white "click here to show filter options". By clicking the text link the blue bar will expand revealing the various filter options. You can select to sort threads by topic started so it will list the newest topics to the oldest. (by default it is listed to show the thread(s) with the latest posts)

-5- You can view new content within any given section (forum) easily by looking at the icon next to the post(s) [see Forum Legend for icon types and meanings : It is found at the bottom of the Forum page].
If you don't wish to have any current posts within a given section marked as "New Replies" (unread) then you can select/click the script link on the top right hand side of that section "Mark This Forum As Read". This will make all threads in the given section as having been read. This can make it easier to track new content since your last visit as everything in that section now appears as having been read.
If you don't wish to have any current posts on the board (entire site) marked as "New Replies" (unread) then click on the "Forum" tab at the top of the page to take you to the Forum page. From here go to the very bottom of the page, on the left hand side, written in grey, on a black border, at the very bottom of the page you will see "Mark Board As Read". By clicking on the "Mark Board As Read" link all content on the site will appear to have been read, making it easier to track any new content since your last visit.
