to give ya a general idea of the setup, at the time i had a standard 8 drawer desk (4 drawers on one side, 3 on the other, and one long slim one in the middle above the chair
heres the doll i used :

-the pose i built around was her sitting with legs spread, knee's hanging over the edge of the desk, and reclining slightly back ( the frame construction makes them very easy to pose and they keep poses extremely well
-the keyboard/mouse was a generic microsoft wireless usb, and the keyboard sat acrost her knees
-monitor was a 22 inch widescreen lcd iirc,with the stand assembly removed and it sat so that that the bottom rested on her thighs, and stomach , and the top slid perfectly under her tits
-i used a zotac mini mobo with a phenom quad core, and cut a pocket for it to fit in her upper back, along with a mini media center 300w psu and a 1tb laptop harddrive
-power and reset buttons were custom made for this, and were N.O. momentary contact microswitches, routed through tunnels i cut into the chest cavity into her nipples, and hotglued in place. pressing the left nipple
turned on power, pressing the right was reset
-hdd activity and power led's were done in a similar way , but routed through the neck into the eye cavity. the stock eyes broke when i tried to drill them, so after explaining what i was doing to a rep at realdoll, they recommended a set of the masterpiece eyes , and was able to get the led's in place and hotglued in as well
-the material they make the dolls out of transmits heat very well, so i was able to use a small cpu cooler, and replace the back section i had cut out a fine wire mesh (close to window screen in look/size, but stiff so it doesnt need a frame
one of the nice side effects, the material spread heat so well, the entire doll would be warm to the touch within a few hours of turning it on
all total, includeing the cost of the doll (aprrox $7500 with shipping and the options i had) and the extra bits and pieces i bought to do the mods with, i had about $8300 into it
i was able to sell it at adultcon LA after having it on display in the realdoll booth for 2 days for $9500 or so (dont really remember, been a few years and the guy wanted it so bad he handed me cash ^_^)
since then ive been tossing around alot of different idea's with all the new stuff thats been coming out on the market lately (
