*AHEM* So, this is my first h-game review, but I figured I'd write about this game since it's one of my favorites thus far, as far as Illusion games go it ranks up there with Artificial Girl 3 so win in my book

Anyways, here's my review of

Love Girl is the latest release by Illusion. Although the storyline has yet to be translated AFAIK, the general premise is that you (and by you I mean the unnamed stock male character in some of the newer Illusion games that has no real purpose other than owning the penis used to pleasure the girls in-game) are basically given sex ed. lessons by three beautiful and busty women. And by sex ed. lessons I'm not talking about the bulls**t they teach you in high school Health class, I mean actual education on the art of sex.

Gameplay
Gameplay is quite modular, and consists of separate "lessons" with one of the three girls. These "lessons" usually involved a specific sexual technique. As far as said techniques go, they are split into three categories: Foreplay (M pleasuring F), Service (F pleasuring M), and Sex (obviously). Your "teachers" are three beautiful women named Kasumi, Maya, and Erika, who have taken it upon themselves to instruct you in these three categories (Kasumi specializes in Foreplay, Maya is a Service expert, and Erika is the master of Sex) by giving you interactive, hands-on experience with themselves.

Your character starts off at level 1, with three attributes: Technique, Endurance, and Stamina. What exactly these attributes do, I don't know exactly, but the gist of it is they'll increase as you level, and the more you increase the better you get. The different techniques (i.e. kissing, fondling, paizuri, blowjob, various positions, etc.) are represented as Skills, each Skill fits into one of the three above categories and is ranked from 1 to 5. When you first start off, you only have the Kissing Skill, but as you complete the lessons you will unlock other skills, as well as other lessons to unlock even more skills. You have to equip Skills in order to use them, and there's a limit as to how many you can have at once, this limit will increase as you level up. In addition to the technique skills there are also special skills that can alter gameplay, such as slowing down the ejaculation gauge, speeding up the girl's pleasure gauge, making it so you automatically insert into vagina or anal instead of having to aim to choose, etc.

In order to complete a lesson there's a specific objective you have to accomplish. For example, Foreplay lessons usually involved getting the girl to a certain level of pleasure using the technique in the lesson. Service lessons involve either ejaculating just right so that it covers a certain part of the girls body, or else wresting control from the girl (There's a gauge that measures motivation for the guy and girl, generally higher Motivation == leading, but you can increase your Motivation above the girls in order to change up). Completing a lesson unlocks news Skills as well as Clothes that you can use in Free Mode. You also get experience that levels up your Skills and Attributes. Finally, while new lessons are limited to the specialist in that category, you can replay cleared lessons and challenges with any girl you choose.

Finally, there are Challenges and Free Mode. Challenges are unlocked after completing all of the in-game Lessons, and can unlock additional Special Skills and clothing. Free Mode is what it says. You can use any technique you have the Skill for (providing you equipped it), and you can pick any of the three girls, any of the three locations (limited to Hotel Room, Pool, and Bath), and dress the girls up in any of the clothes you've unlocked thus far.

The actual gameplay involves a lot of point and click, as well as the mousewheel. Thankfully, there's no need to know ahead of time what to do, because thanks to the Lessons the game is it's own manual. There are screens that appear prior to a Lesson that show you what to do. Given, the screens are all in Japanese, but they will highlight certain portions of the interface as they go through step-by-step, even if you don't know Japanese you can infer from the pictures what you have to do.

Graphics:
Graphics for this game are actually quite good, which makes up for the lack of customization and freeroam from games such as AG3. The animation style is similar to that of Sexy Beach series or Real Kanojo. You can adjust the level of background detail to suit your tastes and hardware specs. As far as background goes, your character and your girl can choose from multiple locations within an area, each one offering different positions i.e. you can do missionary, doggy etc. on the bed, or move to the wall to do standing, etc. This can be accessed from the menu in-game. The interface may seem a bit intrusive but you can set certain interface items such as the main menu to auto-hide when not in use, simply roll your mouse over the area where it usually is and it will pop out for you. Camera control is standard for Illusion games.

What really impressed me was the level of detail that went into the girls, especially the animation. As the girls pleasure gauge rises you can visibly see the effect on her behavior; her face will get more flushed, she'll start visibly panting (and by visibly I mean you can see her chest heaving up and down quite easily), and if she's standing against the wall she will sag against it and spread her legs wider like she's having trouble standing upright because of the feeling. In addition there's a high level of realism for things on the girl's body, if you choose to cum outside you'll see it gradually start to cover different parts of her body, and as her arousal increases you can literally see the juices flowing down her legs.

Overall, I'd give it a 4 out of 5. The animation and graphics are outstanding, but there's a lack of freedom because even with the unlockables there's still little in the way of customization. Also, once you've unlocked everything there is to unlock the game kind of loses it's point. If you're playing for a story or for long-term entertainment, this is not for you. However, if you're playing purely for the fap factor this is pure gold.

Also, I doubt this is the right place but if possible I'd like to see this as an official Hshare release. Share the love, people!

Superb graphics and flexible gameplay are perhaps the two defining merits of this game, which are simply enough for a 4/5 rating in a strict H-game sense. The rest is pretty standard.

Everything would have been perfect if not for a big hiccup: the girls' lack of facial appeal. Also, the poser application is rather subpar and does not offer many poses, more so given that players cannot move limbs as in Yuusha Kara wa Nigerarenai, save for the neat addition of point lighting.
