A-GA Game

Vague Game Description by White Masq:
"Antares" is a planet which surface is 90% water. The planet's civilization, developed around the capital "Ishutal", has become highly advanced and has prospered for a quite some time. That is until the attack from the people of "Betelgeuse". These invaders came and took vast amounts of the planet's resources. It has been two years since this incident, and the people of Antares have created a task force to fight off future invasions and terrorist actions.

I’ve been meaning to write a review of this game for the longest time but I assume many have already played it considering it’s another 3D Illusion title. Far less known then the Sexy Beach and Artificial Girl series A-GA was released June 25, 2004. This title had a great deal of innovation packed into it on Illusion’s part. A-GA features a semi-playable action game with the Hentai content coming in movie cut-scenes. That’s right, the CG stills and playable interactive features common to most all Illusion games didn’t make it into this one, though it’s not a bad thing in this case. A-GA is premium eye candy material the whole way through. Occasionally interrupted by the game play and some puzzles.

Review

Story:

I recommend not even paying attention to this aspect of the game. If you take that approach to all the games you play then good, keep doing it. A-GA may have some sort of plot but it becomes indecipherable after awhile. Just roll with White Masq’s summary and you’ll have a general idea of what’s going on.

There are a few sub-plots that involves Eo and her sister, whom was raped and murdered in front of her, and some relationship development. That’s about it. The end can gets is about the most “what the fuck?” you can get. The story doesn’t bog down the action by any means so I’ll move on.

Design

The departure from the traditional Illusion style is a mixed bag. The action game play elements involve you guiding Eo through a level while taking out anything that gets in your way. At the end of the level is a boss or puzzle that you’ll have to get past to advance. The said bosses are so ridiculously easy they don’t pose a challenge. Each is fought the same way. Your character hops around the level while blasting various parts indicated by targets until the boss dies. The puzzles aren’t too difficult to solve until about the last level which requires some knowledge of Japanese or a walkthrough to navigate.

Illusion couldn’t have picked a worse control scheme for the game. Lateral Movement is controlled by the mouse and the left and right buttons handle firing and other functions. The hot key’s for items and saving are on the keyboard. You’ll have to get used to the retarded interface. Menu’s and the like are easily managed and the game comes with a memory feature so you can watch you’re favorite scenes again.

H-Content

The reason this game scores as highly as it does is because of it’s amazing movie scenes. Everything else is just icing. A-GA has some high quality stuff in it and like a Hentai Anime you just sit back and watch.

AGA involves 3 main female characters who seem to be fighting against an army from another planet/faction. Eo, Ruti, and Fei are teamed on a ship and the game progresses from their vantage points.

There is every type of scene imaginable involving these girls. Involving Rape, Gangbang, Tentacles, Monster, and even Yuri Aga features some variety. The character models look extremely hot and the attention to detail is astounding. The Breasts jiggling with the momentum looks really hot and my personal favorite is how erect the characters nipples get when they are aroused. The rape scenes are particularly humiliating for Fei and Eo as they get pounded and jizzed on. Some internal shots are featured but the censorship ruins some of the fun. The sound effects are crisp and the voice acting is very good. Fei and Ruti are rather air headed but Eo has a bit of a harder edge.

You’ll want to save these clips to your PC. They are that good. What AGA is lacking in game play it makes up with the awesome H-content.

Bottom Line: A departure from the usual for Illusion and far more enjoyable then the Des Blood series. A-GA is a visual feast for certain. I am looking forward to a sequel for this one.

4.0/5

I fixed the link but the game can be found in the 3D Game section. Are you that lazy that you couldn't find it yourself?
