Releasing Content
We currently don't allow members to post releases to hshare. We have had too many issues in the past with abuse and spam.
The only way we would EVER reconsider allowing a member to post content is if they have been a valued member for a lengthy period of time and have consistently helped and contributed to the community, DeathMarine and myself. This is not something you can fake and it has nothing to do with how many post you have.
If you feel you fit this description and you wish to be allowed to post to hshare you can contact me for consideration.

Do not ask for English patches.

It takes an INSANE amount of time, work and skills to edit every single censored image in a game so these patches are nearly non-existent. (If we have one we will post it. If you have one and want to share it please let us know)
Do not hotlink images.
Stealing other sites bandwidth is wrong) Use an image host instead (that's what these sites are there for)

Use the "anonym" code when linking to somewhere off the site
Always place "http://anonym.to/?" before ANY external link you post! (that's links that lead off site)
(example - http://anonym.to/?http://www.hentaianimedownloads.com)
DO NOT place links inside a code box.
Making REquests
If you are making a request for a game or movie make sure to include the Kanji name (meaning the name in Japanese characters), a getchu.com link is usually easiest. And don't be greedy, one request at a time per user until it is filled! (when you make a request you are asking DeathMarine or I to fill that request)
Spoilers
Don't ruin it for others. If you must talk about a spoiler(s), make sure it's labeled *spoiler* in the thread's title (for example Berserk *spoiler*) OR if you are going to post a spoiler within a thread, make sure you use the spoiler tags!! (when you make a post it's even listed on the left under quick access Insert: SPOILER) This is how it will look

Try to post within the right category/section for what you are speaking about. Don't simply hijack any random thread.

Requesting ReSeeds
Ask for reseeds within the release's thread. Please only ask for one reseed at a time and try to repay the favor by seeding for as long as you can.
NEED HELP?
If you need help with a specific game then look over that games thread, if your question has not already been answered then post your question in that thread.
If you are having a problem with any release don't jump to conclusions by saying it doesn't work, we test everything before it is released.

Having Trouble Playing a Video?
If you are having trouble playing a video, before asking for help make sure to;
Make sure you delete ALL codices (codecs) you may have installed and install THIS codex pack:

Try a different video player. (these are all free)
If you don’t already have it, download and install Media Player Classic (Home Cinema)

REVIEWS
We have a review section for anyone who would like to review hentai released by hshare. Please make sure you link (within hshare, no external links) to the game/movie you are reviewing! (your reviews are very appreciated)
(Of course if you simply want to make a quick comment or give your opinion on a game that can be placed in the games thread. we welcome and appreciate your feedback)
Don't spam other sites in any way.
This includes but is not limited to; mentioning a competitor site by name in any way within any thread/post, posting a web address to a competitor site or a link leading to a competitor's site. There should be no reason for you to need to do any of that.
(a competitor site is any site that includes any of the same content we offer here, pay sites also fit into this category and are very taboo)

Don't ask us to release anything by PIXY or Lilith.
Don't bother asking why any of these rules are in place if they are listed then we have just reason to have them.
Failing to follow the rules will result in your post or thread being deleted and can get you banned from the site, remember you have been fore warned. (don't hate the messenger, I'm just trying to help)
